Doris Carmichael specializes in Primary Care Medicine and Management of Chronic Disease with over 40 years in the medical field including hospital-based and educational medicine.
Ms. Carmichael has served as the President of Big Bend Hospice Advisory for Franklin County and Faculty Advisory/Preceptor for several major NP Programs in the Tri-State area.
She was awarded the Outstanding Leadership Award from Georgia Nursing Home Administrations and Regional College Services. She was awarded Mid-Level Provider of the Year by multiple medical facilities in Gulf and Franklin Counties.
Doris enjoys participating in many Community “Service” activities in the Franklin County and surrounding communities through church, teaching skin care health with Mary Kay Cosmetics, and her advisory position with Big Bend Hospice, as well as many other outreach programs.
